Elmina CPP Endorses Kufuor

The constituency members of the Komenda-Elmina-Eguafo-Abrem (KEEA) of the Convention People’s Party (CPP) have endorsed the Minister of Energy, Dr Paa Kwesi Nduom as their parliamentary candidate for the 2004 elections. They have also endorsed President Kufuor as their Presidential candidate.

A statement issued by the constituency members and signed by the constituency chairman on Saturday, April 26 revealed that the executive will form a campaign team with the NPP ”for the 2004 elections in order to campaign together in their constituency for Dr Paa Kwesi Nduom to win the KEEA parliamentary seat and for Mr John Agyekum Kufuor to win the presidential ballot”.

The congress also urged all Nkrumahists parties including the CPP, PNC, GCPP and Reform Party to unite and merge unconditionally in order to produce a strong and credible party for the upcoming elections.
