The Ministry of Energy has announced the dissolution of the Board of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) with immediate effect.
A statement signed by the sector Minister, Dr. Oteng Adjei, says the President, Prof. J. E. A. Mills has constituted a new Board for the Company to be chaired by Mrs. Perpetual Darfour.
The new Board will be sworn-in next Tuesday.
The Ministry also conveys to the old Board the gratitude of the President for their contribution towards building ECG into a world class electricity distribution Company.
