Electrical fault cause of Job 600 fire – Fire Service PRO

Public Relations Officer of the Ghana National Fire Service, Prince Billy Anaglate has disclosed that preliminary investigations made by them show an electrical fault caused the fire on the 10th floor of Job 600.

According to him, officers of the Ghana National Fire Service struggled to locate the exact point the fire started because all lights were turned off which made the place completely dark.

The fire started around 6:30 pm and people who were working on the other floors were quickly rushed down to their safety.

‘So far there is no report of any fatalities and there is no confirmation how many offices have been gutted by fire, everything is fine here but people have to be very careful with electrical so such thing doesn’t happen again’, he said.

Also, he said there is no cause for alarm since the fire affected a small portion of the office at the Job 600 building.

‘Our fire engine which is situated here moved in here to save the situation before anything serious could happen, it was just a minor fire’, he added.
