Ejisu Government Hospital gets equipment

Ejisu (Ash), May 26, GNA – The Ejisu Government Hospital has received medical items valued at more than GH¢6,000.00 to help improve the quality of health care for the sick.

These include plastic and steel beds, sphygmomanometer, mattresses, bed sheets, crutches, theatre gowns, adult pampers and boxes files.

Kubi Foundation, a United States-based humanitarian NGO, donated the items. Mr Kwame Appiah-Kubi, Director of the Foundation, handed these over to the hospital’s administration at a ceremony at Ejisu. He said it was their contribution towards efforts at equipping the facility to enhance the quality of its services.

He pledged further assistance. Dr Osei Owusu, the Medical Officer in charge, said they were grateful to the Foundation for the support and promised to ensure that the items would be used for the intended purpose to bring relief to patients.

He called on others to follow the example.
