Eighty million cedis realised for water project

Fawohoyeden (B/A), Jan. 11 (Han), GNA – The chiefs and people of Fawohoyeden in the Asunafo District of Brong-Ahafo realised 33 million cedis at a fund-raising rally in aid of their 80 million cedis Small Town Water Project.

Nana Boakye Dankwah, Chief of the town noted since the Government did not have the capacity to meet the demands of all communities it was necessary for communities to initiate development projects to supplement.

Nana Dankwa, who is also the Presiding Member of the Asunafo District Assembly, urged both resident and non-resident citizens of the town to honour their financial obligations towards the project. He announced that other fund-raising activities would be organized to ensure the project was completed on schedule.
