Effutu NPP launches Campaign and fund raising at Winneba

Winneba (C/R), Nov. 15, GNA – Mr Samuel Owusu-Agyei, New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate for Effutu Constituency, has appealed to party members to bury their differences and unite to win the seat from the NDC in Election 2004.

He said the four years’ administration of the NPP was far better than the eight years rule of the NDC government and appealed to Ghanaians to give the NPP government another four years mandate to enable it to complete the good programme it had for the nation. Mr Owusu-Agyei said this at the official launch of the NPP’s campaign in the Constituency and fund raising.

He said the spread of development projects at every corner of the country clearly demonstrated the good works of the NPP government and mentioned some of the projects as school buildings, extension of electricity, improvement of health and sanitation facilities. Mr Owusu-Agyei told the people in the Constituency that if voted into power he would lead investors to invest in the area, especially in the salt and fishing industries to help to reduce poverty in the Constituency.

He said the Constituency had not seen any development during the eight years period of the NDC Parliamentary Candidate and called for a change. The Constituency Chairman, Mr Enoch Annan also appealed to Party’s Executives and supporters to forget the difference that erupted during their primary and come together to work hard to ensure a resounding victory for the Party and Mr Owusu-Agyei.
