ECOWAS HOG meet in Accra on Saturday

Accra, March 17, GNA – An the Extraordinary Summit of the Heads of State and Government of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) is scheduled for Saturday, March 20 in Accra.

President John Agyekum Kufuor, Chairman of ECOWAS, would on Friday induct the reconstituted ECOWAS Council of Elders and address its inaugural meeting, a release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Wednesday.

It said the 11th Ministerial meeting of the ECOWAS Mediation and Security Council would also be held on Friday March 19.
