The Bono Regional Security Council has today Tuesday 7th October,2025 sends cautions through the Jaman North District Assembly’s Chief Executive, Honourable Adane George to curb Sampa Chieftaincy conflict.
The District Chief Executive, Honourable Adane George in the studio of GYE NYAME FM on Tuesday 7th October, 2025 morning extends the message of encouragement and condolence from the President John Dramani Mahama to the families whose lost their relatives and properties as a result of the conflict and therefore promise to ensure peace and unity is maintained.
According to him, President Mahama’s vision is to bring development to the people urged everyone to advise their wards to refrain from any activities of conflict in Sampa, as it stands now schools are automatically closed in Sampa township while public workers in the Health and other institutions are seeking for transfer as a result of the shootings and destruction of properties in Sampa making life unbearable.
Honourable Adane George pleads on Nananom of the both traditional Council to solve the issue amicably since the situation is draining the Assembly’s coffers to feed deployed police personnels of 123 and 25 millitary personnels currently in Sampa which those funds could have been used to developed the deplorable state of the government hospital and Sampa township as a District capital.
He addressed the measures put in place by the Bono Regional Security Council which start at 12am dawn Wednesday 8th October 2025 of banning riding unlicensed motorcycles, avoidance of more than two persons on same motor, checking of Ghana card and professional ID’S and Sampa township and boundaries to and from other communities effectively from dawn.
