The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) will carry out maintenance work in several communities in the Accra West Region, with planned power interruptions scheduled between Monday, October 12, and Friday, October 16.
The outages will take place each day from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., according to notices issued by ECG on Sunday, October 11.
The company said the exercise is intended to improve service delivery. It apologised to customers in the affected communities for the inconvenience and advised them to plan ahead for the temporary loss of electricity.

On Monday, October 12, the interruption will cover Mile 7 Estates, Caledonia Hotel, Great Gardens, Fountain Gate Church, ECO Block, Franco Estate, Pokuase BSP and Koans Estate, together with nearby areas.
Customers in and around Ameriya Last Stop and surrounding communities should expect an outage on Tuesday, October 13, while the scheduled maintenance is carried out.
Wednesday’s work, on October 14, will affect Tabora Nos. 3, 4, 5 and 6, Bankyease, Race Course, Alhaji, Kwashiebu, Gbawe Bulemin, Gonse, Joma, Agbozome and CP, as well as adjoining areas.
Areas listed for Thursday, October 15, include Mallam Junction, Weija Gbawe Municipal hospital, South McCarthy, Sampa Valley, Kokrobite, Oshiyie, Old Bortianor, Old Aplaku, Abease, Achiama, Obeyeyie and Ayikai Doblo.
The final scheduled interruption, on Friday, October 16, will affect Kotoku, Papase, Chinto, Doblo and Medie, along with surrounding communities.
ECG urged residents, businesses and other customers in the listed areas to take note of the daily timetable and make the necessary arrangements before the maintenance-related interruptions begin.
