EC warns ‘abusive’ critics on its Facebook page

The Electoral Commission (EC) has warned abusive critics on its Facebook page to behave or be blocked from the page.

The EC has come under fire from several quarters following some controversial decisions it has taken in recent times including the changing of its logo.

Some critics have extended their anger to the EC’s official Facebook page and using some harsh words on the Commission and its Chairperson, Charlotte Osei.

It appears the EC can no longer entertain such harsh criticisms and therefore served notice on Friday that, it will block anyone who uses foul language on its page

Below is the warning:

“IMPORTANT NOTICE: You are all reminded that the use of insults and abusive language on this page is strictly prohibited. Your comments will be deleted and you will be banned from the page without notice. Thank you.”
