Dutch NGO donates vehicle to Wenchi Hospital

Wenchi (B/A), Aug. 8, GNA- Simavi, a Dutch NGO, has donated a new Toyota Land Cruiser vehicle valued at 306 million cedis to the Wenchi Methodist Hospital for its Primary Health-Care outreach programme. Mr C.C.K. Botwe, Hospital Administrator, told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) at Wenchi that the donation was in response to an appeal the hospital management made to the NGO about twelve years ago. Mr Botwe said the vehicle will boost the hospital’s outreach programme.

The hospital is undertaking other development projects including construction of permanent accommodation for the Administrator and repair works on staff quarters, all at 158 million cedis. Mr Botwe called on the Government, and the District Assembly to help either in cash or in kind towards the completion of the projects.
