Drivers reminded to maintain their vehicles this rainy season

Accra, June 6, GNA – Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) Victor Tandoh, Commander in charge of the Police Motor Traffic and Transport Unit (MTTU), on Monday reminded drivers that the rainy season required periodic maintenance of their vehicles in order to avoid unnecessary breakdowns on the road.

A statement signed by Chief Superintendent Tandoh said personnel of the Unit would intensify their enforcement of the law on defective wipers and worn out tyres and offenders would be prosecuted. He, therefore, urged drivers to replace defective wipers and worn out tyres.
