Driver remanded for stealing brassieres

Tema, Nov. 02 GNA – The Tema Circuit Court ‘B’, has remanded a driver into custody for stealing large quantities of brassieres valued over 55 million.

Kofi Davidey who pleaded not guilty would re-appear on November 5. Prosecuting, Chief Inspector Edith Nutakor, told the Court presided over Mr. Stephen Teye, that on October 5, this year, the complainant who is a trader from West Legon, in Accra engaged a clearing Agent to clear her imported goods at the Tema Port.

She said the accused who was contracted to carry the goods diverted some of the goods leading to his arrest.
