Driver lynched

Accra, Sept 1, GNA – A 22 -year old driver, Jerry Kenah was on Thursday dawn lynched by unidentified persons at Dansoman Roundabout in Accra.

A Police source at the Dansoman Police Station confirmed to the Ghana News Agency in an interview that Kenah’s body, which was found at the spot, had been deposited at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital morgue. The Source said an Eyewitness, who identified the deceased, led the Police to the parents of Kenah, who also confirmed that he was their son.

According to the source, the deceased’s mother confirmed to the Police that his son left home three days ago with the excuse to see someone, who had offered to give him a vehicle to drive but did not return until he was reported dead.

The Police said they were investigating.
