Dr Ampofo looses South-Dayi primaries of NDC

Ho, April 7, GNA- Dr Kwame Ampofo, National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament (MP) for South-Dayi, on Monday lost in the primaries of the party held at Peki.

Mr Francis Ganyaglo, NDC Regional Secretary told the GNA on telephone that Mr Edem Asimah, who works with the Community Water Sanitation Programme (CWSP), won the primaries in the constituency with 65 votes. Ms. Perpetual Kafui Annan came second with 29, whiles Dr Ampofo placed third with 16 votes. The other contestants were Mr Winfred Kwampah, who had 13 votes and Mr Justice Donkor, no vote.
