Dormaa Central MP has performed exceptionally well in his 7 months in office – Communication Officer

The NDC Communication Officer, who also serves as the Assembly Member for Asunsu Electoral Area in the Dormaa Central constituency, Hon. Eric Yeboah Kyeremeh, has hailed it as an unparalleled milestone concerning the rapidity of developmental initiatives initiated by the Dormaa Central Member of Parliament, Hon. John Kwame Adu Jack, within just seven months of his tenure in Parliament.

He acknowledged that the MP is advancing at a remarkable pace in his endeavor to develop the Dormaa Central constituency, emphasizing that his efforts have led to the establishment of a permanent DVLA office in Dormaa. This has alleviated the burden on vehicle owners who previously had to travel to Sunyani to license their vehicles. Additionally, he highlighted the MP’s successful lobbying through the Surinam Ambassador to Ghana, who has agreed to construct a school building for the Dwaho community in Dormaa Central, among numerous other initiatives, including the commencement of construction on some dilapidated roads.

He stated that the MP’s efforts illustrate his commitment to facilitating development in the Dormaa Central constituency before the conclusion of his four-year mandate.

In response to the NDC Government’s endeavors to combat illegal mining activities nationwide, he acknowledged that Galamsey is a national canker necessitating a Nationalistic and non-political approach. He stated that the President is resolute in collaborating diligently with pertinent stakeholders to reclaim a significant portion of the forest reserves ravaged by Galamsey operations. With sustained effort and unwavering commitment, the government is poised to triumph in the battle against Galamsey, thereby preserving our forests, water bodies, and other natural resources imperiled by illegal mining activities.
