Don’t combine anti-retroviral drugs with herbal medicine – GAC

People living with HIV and AIDS in the country have been cautioned to desist from combining herbal medicine with anti-retroviral drugs.

This, the Technical Operations Director of the Ghana AIDS Commission in the Eastern Region, Mrs Golda Asante, says is detrimental to their health.

Mrs Asante was responding to questions after the inauguration of an 11 member monitoring committee to ensure the welfare of people living with HIV and AIDS in the Central Region.

The Technical Operations Director for the Central region, Samuel Yeboah, also spoke with our correspondent on the state of HIV and AIDS in his Region.
