Don’t allow yourselves to be misused

Abuakwa (Ash), Oct. 27, GNA- Facilitators of the Non-Formal Education Division (NFED) of the Ministry of Education have been advised not to allow themselves to be misused by politicians in the 2004 general elections.

Mr Antwi Boasiako Brobbey, Deputy Co-ordinating Director for the Atwima District said their neutrality in politics would allow the public to have confidence in them.

He was speaking at the opening of a 10-day workshop organised for the non-formal education facilitators at Abuakwa in the Atwima district on Saturday.

Mr Brobbey asked them to have respect and patience for the adult learners since their behaviour towards them could either make them become more interested or discourage them from learning. He warned them not to divert or sell logistics that would bee given to them for the programme.

Mr James Kofi Nsiah, the Atwima District Co-ordinator of the NFED said about 2,560 facilitators had been trained in the district since 1999.
