Mr. Eric Don-Arthur, former TV 3 Morning Show Presenter, has predicted that with determination, hard work and dedicated service, the NDC will win a landslide victory in the 2016 Presidential and Parliamentary Elections.

Mr. Arthur made the prediction when he submitted his nomination forms to the Effutu Constituency Office of the NDC in Winneba.

He expressed the hope that the Effutu delegates would give him the nod to enable him use his expertise and experience to transform the constituency.

According to him, the 2016 election was not a small task, adding that it needed hard work, zeal and vigor to defeat the incumbent.

He urged the delegates to choose a marketable, workable and credible candidate, to lead the NDC in Effutu, adding that the only solution to defeat the NPP MP was to select a good and acceptable candidate.

Mr. Emmanuel Obo Baiden, Effutu Constituency Secretary, disclosed that at the close of nominations on Thursday, September 10, three aspirants had submitted their nomination forms to contest the primary.

He mentioned the other two aspirants as Mr Ambrose Entuah, Public Affairs Director of the National Service Authority, and Mr Bortse Ghartey, a businessman.

The Constituency Secretary cautioned aspirants and their supporters to conduct their campaigns devoid of insults, character assassination and maligning.

He said the Effutu Constituency needed a united front before and after the Parliamentary primary, to enable the party to win massively.

Mr. Obo Baiden hinted that the Effutu branch of the party had already put in place effective measures but did not disclose their strategies to defeat the NPP in 2016.
