DHL Visits SOS Children’s Day to Mark Global Volunteer Day

In line with its policy of giving back to society, DHL marked this year’s Global Volunteer Day with a visit to the SOS Children’s Village in Tema on September 15. It was an opportunity to show love to the children of the home.

In the spirit of volunteerism, the three divisions of DHL (Express, DGF and Supply Chain) visited the SOS Children’s Village to spend some time to interact, learn and have fun as part of activities marking this years’ Volunteer Day in Ghana.

The DHL volunteers were led by Volunteers were led by Isaac Sackey (Area Human Resources Manager – Anglophone) – Express; David Kwame Larbi – Express; Justina Garbrah – Supply Chain; and Francis Agyakwa – DGF.

“In Ghana, we believe that Education is important, critical and the future of our dear nation. And this is in line with DHL GoTeach, GoHelp and GoGreen Strategic Focus Areas,” said Mr Isaac Sackey, Area Human Resources Manager, Anglophone, DHL Express.
