Desist from ‘praise singing’ and work hard – Kwesi Pratt cautions NPP

The Managing Editor of the Insight newspaper, Kwesi Pratt Jnr, has asked the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to desist from praise -singing and work hard to honour its numerous promises, especially the “One District, One Factory” policy.

Speaking to Ekourba Gyasi on Atinka AM Drive, Kwesi Pratt Jnr advised the NPP not to make ‘too much noise’ about the recently inaugurated Ekumafi Fruits and Juice company, the first project under the one district, one factory policy.

According to him, the mere cutting of sod should not be a yardstick in measuring the success of the policy.

He added that although six months is too early for NPP to build all 216 factories promised, it is too late since Ghanaians cannot identify one of those factories.

He explained that the “one district, one factory” policy will go a long way to help the country hence the positive criticisms.

” The NPP promised 216 factories and it is proper that the government see to it that the promise is fulfilled. The praise singing is getting too much”, he added.
