Delegates arrive for Jehovah’s Witnesses Convention in Ghana

Accra, Dec. 1, GNA – A number of foreign delegates have begun arriving at the Kotoka International Airport to attend the Jehovah’s Witnesses International Convention in Ghana.

The Convention, on the theme: “Keep On the Watch,” would be held from December 3 to December 6.

Mr. Dan Obimpeh, News Service Co-ordinator for the convention, told the Ghana News Agency that more than 2,000 delegates from all over the world were expected in the country for the event.

He said out of the 236 countries where the Jehovah’s Witnesses had branches, the convention was being held in 16 countries including Ghana. Mr. Obimpeh said delegates would discuss the significance of the “end times” to Jehovah’s Witnesses during the convention.
