CPP will floor NPP, NDC in Dec. polls – Delle

The Convention People’s Party (CPP) has risen from its supposed dormant periods and is poised to challenge and dethrone the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP), the party’s chairman, Professor Edmund Delle, has said.

“CPP is a sleeping giant and has woken up to tell Ghanaians and the world that we are back again,” he said.

Addressing party supporters at the launch of the party’s manifesto at the Ghana Academy of Arts and Sciences in Accra on Saturday, October 29, Prof Delle stressed: “Gone are the days when the party was seen to be dormant but we are now awake to show the NDC and the NPP that we are the champions [of drafting and executing sound policies].”

He underscored the need to bring back the CPP to manage the affairs of the state to return the country to its golden years “as a bearer of hope to Africa”.

He stressed that the party would not renege on its promise to make Ghana work again for the benefit of all.
