CPP activists should strive to strengthen internal structures- Dr Nduom

Kumasi, May 15, GNA – Dr Paa Kwesi Nduom, 2008 Presidential Candidate of the Convention Peoples Party (CPP), has suggested the need for the party to work assiduously to strengthen its internal structures at all levels. He said activists of the CPP should refrain from utterances and practices that were in contravention of the principles and constitution of the party to facilitate electoral victory in 2012.

Dr Nduom was addressing executives of the 39 constituencies of the CPP in the Ashanti Region in Kumasi. He said the party had a very good record of improving the living conditions of Ghanaians through sound industrial and socio-economic policies when in power.

The party, he said, would continue with the enviable record to benefit the nation when given the mandate in the next General Election. Dr Nduom noted that the CPP is the only alternative party, which has the solutions to the nation’s current economic mess. The former flag bearer stressed the need for executives of the party to explore avenues to raise funds to support party programmes. Dr Nduom said the task ahead of the party in the 2012 elections was challenging and advised CPP activists to map up effective campaign strategies to help overcome their opponents. 15 May 10
