A Circuit Court in Accra, has lauded the efforts of one Togbe Amuzu, witness in a stealing case and a Spiritualist of Great International Temple-Gbetsile near Michel Camp for his honesty.

Togbe Amuzu was consulted by Isaac Obenu, a driver’s mate and a house boy for spiritual help after stealing his master’s money, totaling 6,000 dollars.

The spiritualist however informed the complainant about Obenu’s action.

The court presided over by Ms Ellen V. Amoah commended Togbe Amuzu, after sentencing Obenu to three years imprisonment for stealing. Obenu, 21, pleaded guilty.

Passing the sentence, the court said it took into account Obenu’s youthful age expressing hope that he would engage in serious retrospection of his kleptomania conducts in prison.

Prosecuting Chief Inspector Michael Jubiok said the complainant resides at Japan Motor, near lake side Estate at Ashalley Botwe while Obenu, who is a househelp to the complainant lives at East Legon.
