Court adjourns rioters case

Takoradi, Dec. 25, GNA – A Takoradi District Magistrate’s Court on Monday adjourned the Princess Town/Aketeyie rioters case to February 29 next year. Mr Samuel Entee Jnr, the Magistrate, said the adjournment was to allow the prosecution to complete investigation into the cause of death of three persons during the disturbances at the Kundum Festival at Princess Town/Aketeyie. The court granted each of the 54 accused persons 1,000 Ghana cedis bail with one surety. 25 Dec 07
