A German national and this Ghanaian wife have donated hospital equipment to the Mother and Child Foundation at a ceremony at the foundation?s offices in Accra.
The couple, Michael and Joyce Nessel, presented the items which were received by Mrs. Theresa Kufuor, president of the foundation. The couple was accompanied by their friends, Mrs. And Mrs. Bad Kreuznach.
The items were 12ECG machines, two theatre operating lights, 25beds, 10bedside units, 60wheelchairs, doctor?s gowns, assorted equipment and 11 drips. The couple promised their continuous support for the activities of the foundation. Mrs. Kufuor expressed her appreciation for the enormous donation and assured them that these items will be given to the needy hospitals.
