Contestant renounces claim to Chuchuliga skin

Chuchuliga (U/E) July 31, GNA – Mr Joseph Akakula, a key contestant in the Chuchuliga chieftaincy dispute, at the weekend renounced his claim to the Chuchuliga skin.

He said this at a meeting with another contestant, Chief Francis Asangalisa II in the presence of sub-chiefs, elders, and opinion leaders at Chuchuliga.

He said he had taken that stand to ensure peace and development in the area and had informed Sandem-Nab Ayieta Asantilow, the Paramount Chief of the Builsa Traditional Area. Nab Asangalisa Ii thanked Mr Joseph Adakula for his decision and urged him to work closely with him to ensure peace and development in the area
