Nkawie (Ash), Jan 15, GNA – The Atwima-Nwabiagya Constituency of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has been thrown into turmoil as 75 polling station Chairmen and six Constituency Executive Members of the Party have signed separate resolutions calling for the immediate removal from office of the Constituency Chairman, Nana Kofi Owusu.
They are insisting that the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the Party should convene an emergency meeting for the constituency to constitute an electoral college in line with the NPP’s constitution to remove him. The two groups accused the Constituency Chairman of impropriety.
