The executives and members of NDC Chicago chapter have been saddened by the tragic news of the sudden death of His Excellency, John Evans Attah Mills, President of the Republic of Ghana yesterday, July 24 2012.. The late President Mills’ commitment to development and peace in our country was unparalleled.
We join all Ghanaians in expressing our outmost condolences to the former First Lady, Dr. Ernestina Naadu Mills, the families he left behind and our country in general at this heavy-hearted and mournful time.
We urge members of the NDC family and Ghanaians in general to remain prayerful and committed to the cherished goals of our former leader, which are Peace and development for a Better Ghana. May we find solace in his dedication and sacrifice to our beloved country Ghana. May his Soul rest in perfect peace.
