Community constructs day-care centre

Nsawam (E/R), Aug. 12, GNA – The people of Ankwa Dobro, a farming community near Nsawam in the Akuapem South District, led by their unit committee are constructing a day-care centre at the cost of about 20 million cedis.

Conducting the Ghana News Agency round to inspect the building on Monday, Mr Adu Boahene, Secretary to the Unit Committee said the project is being funded by the people through communal labour and contributions of 20,000 cedis a male and 10,000 cedis per female.

Mr Boahene commended Abusua Panying Kwadjo Amponsah and elders of the town for supporting the project with 13 bags of cement and one packet of roofing sheet.

He appealed to the Akuapem South District Assembly to come to their aid financially and materially to complete the project on schedule.
