Committee Investigates Fire Outbreak

@ Ministry Of Foreign Affairs

His Excellency President John Evans Atta Mills has, in accordance with the Constitution, set up a Committee of Enquiry to investigate the fire outbreak at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration on the 21st of October, 2009.

The Committee is made up of:

1, Mr. K. Twum Boafo – Twum Boafo & Associates

2. Mr. Ken Dzirasah – One-time First Deputy Speaker of Parliament

3. Dr. Don Arthur – Office of the President

4. Mr. Robert Ayalingo – Assistant Commissioner of Police

5. Mr. K.A. Attobra – Assistant Chief Fire Officer

6. Alhaji Ziblim Yakubu – Ministry of Water Resources, Works & Housing

7. Mr. Morgan Brown – Ministry of Foreign Affairs

The secretary to the Committee is Mr. G.E. Ofori, Principal State Attorney.

The Committee has up to November 30, 2009, to complete its investigations and submit its report and recommendations.
