Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, has raised concerns over the emergence of two factions in the National Democratic Congress (NDC) constituency elections in the region.
In a Facebook post on Monday, October 26,2026, Mr Appiah, widely known as COKA, said his close observation of the electoral process had led him to identify the “Enough Is Enough” camp and “Team Reset”.
He indicated that the importance of the two groups might not be immediately understood by people who were unfamiliar with the NDC’s internal dynamics.
“The uninitiated won’t understand this,” he wrote, before questioning who was directing the two camps and which interests they represented in the party’s internal elections.
Mr Appiah called on observers to establish the identities of the leading figures associated with each group and assess their positions in the constituency-level contests.
“The question is: Who are the key leaders behind these two camps, and what do they represent in the party’s internal elections? Time will tell,” he said.
He did not identify any of the alleged leaders of the “Enough Is Enough” or “Team Reset” factions. Nor did he provide details of the objectives or positions linked to either group.
As a result, the identities of the main actors and the interests they may represent remain unclear.
The comments highlight the internal competition surrounding the NDC’s constituency elections in the Ashanti Region. Such local contests can affect the organisation of the party, the selection of its leadership and the balance of influence as it prepares for future political engagements.
Mr Appiah concluded his post with the expression “Asanteman COKA, I care,” signalling his stated interest in developments within the region’s political landscape.
The extent of the two camps’ influence in the NDC’s internal electoral process has yet to be established.
