An Accra circuit court on Wednesday handed a 10-year jail term to 27-year-old Francis Andor, a cleaner, for having anal sex with a 16-year old boy.
The court, presided over by Madam Sedinam Agbemava, sentenced Francis after the court found him guilty of the offence.
Prosecuting, Detective Inspector Kofi Atimbire told the court that on March 3, 2013, the convict lured the victim into his room and forcibly had anal intercourse with him.
Prosecution said after the act, the convict told the victim not to disclose what happened to anyone, because he would give him whatever he needed, but the victim reported him to his father and head teacher.
A report was made to the police and Francis was arrested but he denied the offence in his caution statement.
