Churches urged to pray for the country

Accra, April 5, GNA – Christians have been urged to pray to God to deliver the country from the bribery and corruption during this year’s Easter celebrations.

A statement issued in Accra on Monday by the Ghana Evangelical Society (GES) and signed by Pastor Immanuel Enoch, Leader of the Society, said the prayer had become very necessary in the fight against corruption. “Special Prayers of intercession for the deliverance, relief, restoration and comfort of all victims of bribery and corruption is needed in the country”, the statement said.
