Church to set up marriage counselling committee

Bunso (E/R), Dec. 13, GNA – The Headquarters of Yahwe-Nissi Church, Ghana has decided to set up a marriage counselling committee to handle marriage problems of members. Apostle Emmanuel Omane Addo, Founder of Yahwe-Nissi (God is our banner) Church, announced this at a special gathering of the Men’s Fellowship and Women’s Fellowship of the church at Bunso in the Eastern Region on Thursday on the theme: “Rise up oh men of God”. He said God instituted marriage and couples should therefore, accord this holy institution respect and reverence. He charged them to be role models to attract others into the fellowships.

Apostle Omane stated that the men were the bedrock of the Church and should take active interest in the programmes and activities of the church.

The Founder said as Christians and members of the fellowship, they should lead lives worthy of emulation. “You should bear God’s fruits as Christians and members of the fellowship”, he said. Apostle Omane commended the fellowship for its contribution to the growth and development of the church. He called on them to build peaceful marriage homes and bring up their children in a God-fearing way. 13 Dec. 07
