Church leaders to propagate re-denomination exercise

Techiman (B/A), April 17, GNA – Mr. Pierre Ankomah, Techiman Municipal Director of the National Commission for Civic Education, has urged religious leaders to use the pulpit to educate their congregations about the re-denomination exercise.

He was addressing members of the Church of Pentecost and other Christian denominations at an Easter convention. Mr. Ankomah said the six months’ transition period for the new currency would enable every citizen to become conversant with it and cautioned the people to be wary of unscrupulous people who might approach them to assist in the exchange of their monies.
