Church ends Christmas Convention

Breman Fawomanye (CR), Jan. 4, GNA – The Word of God Church of Ghana on Wednesday ended its week-long Christmas convention at Fawomanye in the Ajumako-Enyan-Essiam District in the Central Region. The occasion was also used to cut the sod to initiate work on a 100-million cedi vocation centre for the Church with its headquarters at Fawomanye.

The convention, under the theme: “Jesus will answer my prayer gave members of the church the opportunity to pray for the nation and the world at large.

Delivering the sermon, Apostle Halign Buaben, Head of the Church asked Christians to use the birth of Jesus Christ to promote peace and unity among Ghanaians.

He asked the Christians as role model to emulate the character and principles of Jesus.

On HIV/AIDS pandemic, Apostle Buaben urged Christians to join the crusade against the spread of the disease.
