Church donates library books to school

Accra, Dec. 17, GNA – The Church of Jesus Christ of Later-Day Saints has donated 84 boxes containing library books to the Ngleshie-Amanfrom Secondary School, near Kasoa.

The books covering various subjects including English Literature and Science were donated following a joint appeal made to the church by the Parent Teacher Association and the school authorities. Mr Clemence Baah Kofi, Distribution Manager of the Later-Day Saints Charities, said the donation was the church’s modest contribution towards the total educational development of the pupils.

Mr Moses Parbi, Secretary of the Parent-Teacher Association, who received the items on behalf of the school, thanked the church for the gesture.

He gave the assurance that the books would be put to good use.
