Christians should pray against calamities – Prophet

Prophet Jeremiah Kwaku Acquah, General Overseer of Wonderful Jesus Prayer Chapel International, has called on Christians to be vigilant and pray to prevent socio-economic calamities in the world.

He said Satan is impacting spiritual misfortunes such as economic woes, sicknesses, and accidents into nations and that the only thing people could do is to seek the face of God to curtail these problems.

Prophet Acquah made the call in an interview with Ghana News Agency at the church’s premises at Kwabenya in Accra as the mission organises a four-day revival from Thursday, September 18 to Sunday, September 21.

The revival is on theme: “Let God arise and His enemies be scattered,” and is aimed at seeking the intervention of God to prevent the Ebola disease from coming into the country.

The church, which has branches in Accra, Koforidua and Ahwerase, provides support to brilliant but needy students, orphanages and the aged as its social responsibility.
