Christians asked to remain selfless

Kumasi, Feb 22, GNA – The Reverend James Kwabena Badu, General Overseer of the African Faith Ministry International, has called on Christians to be selfless and to share whatever they have with the needy.

He said this was what Christianity stood for adding that, they should practice the principles to “give honour and glory to God”. Rev Badu, who was preaching at a service at Oforikrom in Kumasi, on Sunday, urged them to make Christ the centre of their daily lives to resist the devil.

The General Overseer asked the congregation to be modest in their spending so that they could save to take good care of their children. He called on ministers of religion to refrain from practices that would drag the Church into disrepute and asked the congregation to be truthful and to lead lives worthy of emulation. 22 Feb 04
