Christian Ministry without integrity is hollow-Priest

Hohoe, May 20, GNA- The Reverend William Sakoe, Parish Priest of the Hohoe Branch of the EP Church, Ghana on Sunday said that a Christian ministry without integrity could be hollow and distasteful.

“Without integrity, we could not stand up and stand out as living testimonies of what we preach and teach,” he said. Rev. Sakoe who was delivering a sermon at Hohoe urged Christians to extol integrity, honesty and uprightness to rekindle the ideals of Christendom in the Church and the society.

He said; “it is only people with virtue and integrity that could be entrusted with the power and authority of leadership”. Rev. Sakoe therefore admonished Christians to extol the virtues of Christ in its totality and shun worldly craze for inordinate materialism, which had the tendency to corrupt their Christian and moral lifestyles. He prayed the Holy Spirit to equip Christians with all Godly virtues to enable “us attain the height of excellence and superior delivery in the Church, the society workplace and in politics”. “Avoid forcing square pegs into round holes,” Rev Sakoe admonished. 20 May 07
