Chinese Vice President to visit Ghana

Accra, (Greater Accra) 25 Jan. ’99,

The Chinese Vice President, Mr Hu Jintao will pay an official visit to Ghana from Tuesday, January 26 to Thursday, January 28. A statement by the Chinese Embassy in Accra said the visit is at the invitation of Vice President John Evans Atta Mills. Mr Hu’s visit is the first by a top Chinese to Ghana in 35 years.
