Chinese national granted bail

Koforidua, July, 07 GNA – The Eastern Regional Police Command has granted bail to Kun Hi-Zi, a Chinese national, who wounded a colleague Chinese, Hwan Zhan-Hu, at Akosombo where the two work. Briefing the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in an interview in Koforidua on Wednesday, the Regional Police Commander, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Kwabena Gyamera-Yeboah, said the two, work at the Akosombo Textiles Limited (ATL). He said on Tuesday July 5, a misunderstanding ensued between the two and Kun Hi-Zi picked a club and hit the forehead of Hwan zhan hu who instantly collapsed. ACP Gyamera-Yaboah said the victim was rushed to the Volta River Authority (VRA) Hospital at Akosombo where he was receiving treatment. He said the suspect was arrested and detained at the Akosombo police station cell, but later granted bail after he complained of a waist pain as a result of the fight, and was given a medical form to go to hospital. ACP Gyamera-Yeboah said the suspect would be arraigned later after investigations had been completed. 07 July 11
