Chief express concern about unauthorised sale of lands

Papaase (GA/R) Aug. 16, GNA – Nii Quarshie Nettey, acting Chief of Papaase near Amasaman, has advised chiefs and other custodians of land, in the Greater Accra Region, to stop the sale of lands by unauthorised people.

He said the practice was undermining peace and stability in the Region and retarding progress and development.

Nii Nettey gave the advice during the celebration of the annual Kotobiri Ahobaah festival at Papaase at the weekend.

He deplored the attitude of some unscrupulous people who engage land guards to protect the wanton sale of stolen lands.

Nii Quarshie commended the Ga District Assembly for providing the area with a school to enhance teaching and learning.
