Charity Assemblies of God celebrates anniversary

Accra, Dec. 6, GNA – Mrs Georgina Wood, the Chief Justice, has called on Ghanaians to ensure unity and peace for national development. She also called on Christians to be morally upright and propagate the gospel in all parts of the country to win more souls for Christ.

The Chief Justice, who made the call in an address read on her behalf at the 25th anniversary celebration of the Charity Assemblies of God Church on the theme: ‘Our Sufficiency is of the Lord’at Adenta near Accra on Sunday, paid tribute to the founding fathers of the Church for their contribution to its growth.

Rev. Michael Boahen, Head pastor of Charity Assemblies of God, said the church had opened branches at Oyarifa, Oyibi, Danfa, all in the Greater Accra Region, Mamfe Adakpo in the Volta Region and Twifo-Hemang in the Central Region. He said plans were very far advanced to set up W.W. Dontoh Charity Educational Fund to honour the late W.W. Dontoh General Superintendent of the Church, for the leadership role he played in the Church.
