CEO of China-Europe International Business School arrives

Accra, July 21, GNA – The Executive President of the China-Europe International Business School (CEIBS), Professor Pedro Nueno, has arrived in the country to commission a branch of the school.

Speaking to journalists on arrival at the Kotoka International Airport, Professor Nueno said the launch of the school in Ghana was to serve as a take-off point for the introduction of the school to the entire African continent.

He said the school sought to improve upon the skills of people in managerial positions with at least eight years experience at that level.

He said for a country with an emerging economy such as Ghana, there was the need for a large number of innovative thinkers who could come up with viable ideas and projects that could complement and help the economy’s growth, adding that this was the major priority of the school. Mr Nueno’s delegation includes 20 businessmen who would explore the business prospects of the country and seek to identify their respective areas Of interest.
