The Director General of the Ghana Prison’s Service, Richard Kuuire, has said that the prisons authorities have located the site where the executed former heads of state and members of the erstwhile Supreme Military Council were buried.
The widows of the executed officers have laid a petition before President Kufour, imploring him to order the exhumation and possible reburial of their husbands.
He was speaking in an interview with Joy FM. According to him,the officers, who were executed in the heat of the June four uprising in 1979 were buried at a location near Nsawam.
