Bugri Naabu harassing Gonjas – NPP youth

A group calling itself “NPP Network in Gonjaland” has disclosed that Gender Minister Otiko Afisah Djaba, Dr Braimah Clifford and others are being harassed by Bugri Naabu, Northern Regional Chairman of the party simply because they are Gonjas.

Speaking on Nkilgi FM at Bole, a leader of the group Jawula Dramani said the attitude of Chairman Bugri Naabu towards Gonjas in the NPP raises eyebrows.

The group has therefore called on the leadership of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to as a matter of urgency call the Northern regional NPP Chairman Bugri Naabu to order because his actions do not promote unity and growth of the party.

According Mr Jawula Chairman Naabu has always tried so many ways to find fault with Gonjas that hold certain positions in the NPP currently in government.

He cited instances where, prior to the 2016 elections Hajia Zulfawu who was Deputy regional Women’s organizer of the NPP was axed and also worked against Hon. Hajia Elizabeth Salamatu Forgor when she was lobbying for a political appointment with a flimsy excuse of her not consulting him.

The group has asked the Northern Regional Chairman of NPP Bugri Naabu to tell the world why he is allergic to Gonjas hence always on their necks.

Mr Dramani Jawula said Chairman Bugri Naabu recently called NPP members in the region “cockroaches” forgetting that, it was the same “cockroaches” that elected him into his position.

The group sent a word of caution to Chairman Naabu to behave himself or else, they will advise themselves.
