Boy found dead in pit latrine

Wassa Akropong (W/R) Feb 9, GNA – A two and a half year-old school boy, Latif Fuseini, was found dead in a pit latrine at Wassa Akropong last Monday. According to the father of the victim, Mr. Salifu Fuseini, a farmer, his son left for school on Thursday January 29 but did not return home. Mr. Fuseini, therefore, reported the incident to Wassa Akropong police who Conducted an intensive search and found him on February second the latrine. Chief Inspector Kyei Asante Krobea of the Wassa Akropong Police confirmed the incident. Chief Inspector Krobea said the Police was still investigating to see if there was any foul play. Meanwhile, the body has been deposited at Wassa Akropong Government hospital mortuary for autopsy.
